So, what exactly is “timebanking”, you may be wondering. By definition timebanking is a way of both giving and receiving in a way that builds up the communities around. Timebanking is a way in which one who gives time can earn “time credits”. One hour of your time will earn you one hour of time credits which can be used to receive time and services for yourself. Timebanking is the new way to share goods and services by providing your services in exchange for others services. This mechanism will serve all community members involved very well, and will help achieve a better overall community.
